63-65 Victoria Street was a Commercial office space development in Christchurch. The development required 6m deep 600mm diameter piled foundations.
March Construction put forward a solution based on Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piling. The alluvial ground conditions would have required the piles to be cased full depth had traditional rotary bore piling been undertaken. A CFA solution removed this requirement and proved to generate much faster production rates.
